Model: HE055CL008-39IW-18A
A 5.5 inch full-HD module with in-cell touch: the touch sensor is built into the LCD cell itself, not laminated on top of it. The result is a single display-and-touch assembly just 1.69 mm thick — the thinnest module in our small-format range — with 1080×1920 resolution at roughly 400 pixels per inch.
For handheld gaming devices, cloud-gaming handhelds and portrait-format portable terminals, it removes an entire layer from the stack while keeping full multi-touch.

One layer fewer. A conventional touch display stacks a separate touch panel over the LCD and bonds the two together. In-cell integrates the sensing electrodes inside the cell, so the module is thinner, lighter and has one less interface to reflect light or trap dust during assembly.
Better optics. Fewer layers between the pixels and the user’s eye means less internal reflection and a display that sits visually closer to the cover glass — the “printed on the surface” look users associate with premium devices.
Simpler for your line. Display and touch arrive as one qualified assembly with one connector, rather than two components your team has to bond and test.
1.69 mm total. In a handheld, the display stack competes directly with battery volume. Every millimetre saved here is capacity or thinness elsewhere.
At 1080×1920 across 5.5 inches, roughly 400 PPI, text and UI elements render without visible pixel structure at normal viewing distance. The full viewing angle keeps colors and contrast stable however the device is held, and the normally black structure keeps dark scenes properly dark. High-stability liquid crystal materials and an evenly tuned backlight keep brightness uniform across the panel and consistent from batch to batch, with no flicker and reliable low-temperature start-up.
MIPI DSI carries full-HD comfortably and matches the application processors used in current handheld and portable devices. Where your design calls for something else, LVDS, RGB and SPI versions of our displays are available.
Over 60% of the modules we ship are customized. For this display we can adapt cover glass shape, thickness, printing and openings; optical bonding of the cover glass; FPC length, shape and pin definition; backlight brightness and driving; and interface definition.
Every module is produced under an IATF 16949 quality system in our own factory in Shanggao, Jiangxi, in 4,000 m² of Class 1,000 cleanroom. Each unit is 100% lighting-tested before shipment, and new designs are validated with high- and low-temperature cycling, damp-heat aging, ESD, drop and vibration testing. Our factory also holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IECQ QC 080000 certification, and all modules comply with RoHS, with third-party reports available on request.
Handheld and cloud-gaming devices, portable emulation hardware, handheld terminals and PDAs, mobile POS devices, smart home wall panels, inspection and measurement instruments, and portrait-format kiosk and vending displays.
Send us your housing drawing, SoC and interface, cover glass requirement, operating temperature range and estimated annual quantity. Our engineers will confirm the specification, quote the module and arrange samples — built on the same automated lines used for mass production.
