On a smartwatch, the display is the product. Buyers judge it in the first glance, so it has to be sharp, colorful and readable at a tilted wrist angle. As a smartwatch LCD display supplier, we build small IPS TFT modules that keep colors stable across wide viewing angles.

Our wearable range runs from 0.96″ to 2.0″, including a 1.46″ 360×360 IPS module with QSPI interface, a 1.5″ 320×320 square IPS display and a 1.2″ 240×204 IPS module only 1.5 mm thick.

Many brands weigh TFT LCD against AMOLED for their next watch. TFT gives a lower unit cost, strong readability under sunlight with a suitable backlight, and no OLED-style burn-in from static watch faces. That makes it a practical choice for kids’ watches, fitness bands and value smartwatches.

The trade-off is power: a TFT backlight stays on while the screen is lit. For always-on designs, our engineers help you balance backlight brightness against battery life at the design stage.
