A 3.95 inch square LCD module built for smart home panels, thermostats, speakers, control knobs and IoT terminals — the products where a round or rectangular screen looks out of place and a square one looks designed-in. The 480×480 IPS panel gives roughly 172 pixels per inch, so icons and small type stay crisp at arm’s length, and the full viewing angle keeps colors stable whether the user looks at the panel from above, below or the side.

Why this module

A square format that fits modern product design. At 85.9 mm square and under 4 mm thick, the module drops into wall panels, tabletop devices and compact enclosures without forcing a redesign around a standard rectangular screen.

IPS with a Normally Black panel. Colors and contrast hold steady across the full viewing angle, and a normally black structure keeps the display genuinely dark when pixels are off — which matters on a device that sits in a living room or bedroom.

Stable image quality in the field. We select high-stability liquid crystal materials and tune the backlight for even brightness, so the picture stays consistent across the panel and across production batches, with no flicker and reliable low-temperature start-up.

MIPI, and other interfaces on request. This model ships with a MIPI interface. Where your main chip calls for something else, the same display can be built with LVDS, RGB or SPI, and our engineers help you match the driver solution to your controller.

Touch integration

The module can be supplied with a capacitive touch panel, optically bonded to the display, for a single display-and-touch assembly. Optical bonding removes the air gap behind the cover glass, which cuts internal reflection, improves contrast and adds strength to the front surface. The touch option supports multi-touch, wet-finger operation and good linearity with strong anti-interference performance.

Quality and reliability

Every module is produced under an IATF 16949 quality system in our own factory in Shanggao, Jiangxi, in 4,000 m² of Class 1,000 cleanroom. Each unit is 100% lighting-tested before shipment, and new designs are validated with high- and low-temperature cycling, damp-heat aging, ESD, drop and vibration testing. Our factory also holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IECQ QC 080000 certification, and all modules comply with RoHS, with third-party reports available on request.
