Model: HE286BL002-30IQ-06A
A 2.86 inch bar-type IPS module just 31.2 mm wide — a display for the slots and channels a vehicle interior actually leaves open. Motorcycle and scooter instrument strips, gear and battery indicators, centre-console status bars, handlebar pods and accessory panels all have length to work with but very little width. This module is built for exactly that shape.
At 376×960 across 2.86 inches, the panel reaches roughly 360 pixels per inch. That density matters on a strip display, because the rider or driver reads it from close range, where coarse pixels on a speed or range readout are immediately visible.

31.2 mm wide, and that is the point. Where a conventional display forces a designer to widen a housing or waste bezel, a bar-type module fills a narrow channel completely. Speed, gear, range, warnings and turn indicators stack naturally down the length of the screen.
360 PPI on a close-range display. Strip displays sit within arm’s reach. High pixel density keeps digits, unit labels and icon edges clean instead of stepped.
RGB565 keeps the board simple. A 16-bit parallel interface drives 65,536 colors, plenty for instrument graphics, gauges and warning icons, over fewer data lines than an 18- or 24-bit bus. It connects directly to the MCUs and SoCs used in cluster boards, with no bridge IC required.
IPS, Normally Black. A dashboard strip is almost always viewed at an angle. IPS holds color and contrast across the full viewing angle, and the normally black structure keeps dark instrument themes properly dark.
Bar-type displays are rarely mounted behind a plain window. We supply this module with custom cover glass cut to your housing outline, with printed borders, icon legends and openings for buttons, LEDs or sensors, optically bonded to the display.
Optical bonding removes the air gap behind the cover glass, cutting reflection under direct sun, deepening contrast and strengthening the front surface — all relevant on a display exposed to daylight, weather and vibration. A capacitive touch panel can be integrated in the same stack where the interface calls for it.
FPC length, shape and pin definition, backlight brightness and interface definition can all be adapted, with MIPI, LVDS and SPI options available across our range.
Our Shanggao factory is certified to IATF 16949:2016 by Zhong An FCAV International, with a scope covering the design and manufacture of liquid crystal display modules. We also hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IECQ QC 080000 certification, and all modules comply with RoHS, with third-party test reports available for your supplier qualification.
Every unit is 100% lighting-tested before shipment, and new designs are validated with high- and low-temperature cycling, damp-heat aging, ESD, drop and vibration testing before mass production.
Motorcycle and scooter instrument strips, e-bike and electric scooter dashboards, gear and battery status bars, centre-console indicator panels, handlebar pods, marine and powersports gauges, and narrow control panels in industrial vehicles.
Send us your housing drawing and cover glass artwork, interface, required operating temperature range, brightness target and estimated annual quantity. Our engineers will confirm the specification, quote the module and arrange samples — built on the same automated lines used for mass production.
